Where should the wheel and the sliders go?

Here is the final design of where the wheel and the sliders for the light and sound should be placed.




When the table is inactive the table should look like an ordinary table. On the other hand, when the table is active we have to show the user where an interaction with the table is possible. To make this happen we use diodes (or something like that) to enlighten the surface from below. The picture below shows how this looks.



When using the sliders, we're going to light LEDs (through the veneer, of course) that show the level of the slider. It's going to look something like this video:
